The Road not Taken

The Road not Taken

…Yet knowing how way leads on to way,
I doubted if I should ever come back.

I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I—
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.

Cheeku, six years ago you decided to take the road less travelled by…and that has made all the difference. In your journeys through the skies, you would traverse so many of the roads less traveled by…and still, you would sense across time and its dimensions how much you are loved and missed, how much your presence fills our lives with joy and fragrance.

I watch the Sun rise every morning and I know you ride in its glow. I feel the evening breeze caress my face and I can hear you humming your song. In the night so often deep in sleep, I see you tip toe across the room. And always, every moment I sense you in the next room, invisible but felt. Could it be that your celestial journeys are taking you through this world?

Six years…you have been gone for six years, and you have been here all the time…

Dad
