Dear Cheeku, Last month we won the World Cup. A dream had come true. I’m sure even you must have partied the moment Dhoni hit that six. We’ve watched the 1999 World Cup together, got of Golecha Theatre together when India lost to Australia in the Super-Sixes that year, sad and cursing the top order when they failed again. You were in England when we beat Pakistan in the 2003 World Cup and we had a big discussion on the phone. Well, this time, they’ve done it. And we partied, and danced and laughed…long into the night. I was’nt in Delhi but heard that all others were together and they went wild with joy.
Currently, I’m in Pune for a couple of days and all I could remember is the ‘TRIP’. Well, I was’nt there but it seems I was. I’ve heard about it so many times. I’ll be in delhi soon and a party is already being planned. Last month, sarvpreet also got married.Deepu, Priyanka and the little Diva had come over and after a long while we had the family complete. We spent the night at Addy’s place and, well, needless to tell you what happened, as you were there… We had an absolute fabulous time. The family is growing, Cheeku..it really is…And it is fun to see Sunny and Deepu act like responsible dads. i’m sure they’ll be great dads to their daughters…even Gaurav, when his time comes.
