Remember 11th January 2000… what a day it was.Gaurav’s and Aruj’s B’Day. They called around 10 people to celebrate and have dinner at Four Seasons and then when all of us reached there in the evening, there were around 30 people there…. you just went ahead and invited almost everyone we know. I still remember Four Seasons turned unrecognisable that day. The manager would come again and again and say ‘Sir, please make less noise. This is a family restaurent’.We really created havoc in that place.
This was great time, we would all assemble at your place and play cricket in your driveway. I remember once that Tubby was batting he played a full blooded drive which hit one of your maids. She just fell there while we just stood there and wondered what to do……
India-Pakistan series has started once again. I remember when India went to Pakistan last time around, you would call up from Cardiff and we would discuss cricket. You would tell me the craze among the student community in Cardiff and I would give what you call ‘expert opinions of sardara’.Buddy, this time around, there’s nobody whom I could discuss cricket with…. Miss you Brother….
