Cheeku, today morning a very dear friend called up and gave the news that he has been engaged. On e-mail, he send the photographs of his fiance, and asked “How is she?” That question from him transported me to that lovely summer evening outside Gaurav’s house, many years ago, when you have asked me the exact same question when I’ve told you about a girl in my life. You and me were waiting for Gaurav to emerge of his house and suddenly out of nowehere you have asked me this. I shrugged my shoulders and said “She’s OK”. You looked at me with a stern face and in all your seriousness (which was a very rare thing) told me “Sardare, if you like her, she cannot be OK. She’s out-of-the-world”.
And that’s what I told my friend today.
