Brother, finally I’ve come to Bombay for the last training of my course. In the next 4 months, I’ll be done with my MBA. Whew!!! and after that i’ll also enter the journey called ‘real life’ or ‘forced labour’ as you used to say.
Bombay or Mumbai rather holds many memories for us. And everyday as I sit alone facing the sea at Nariman Point, my mind just wanders to you. Sometimes, I even speak to you, as if you are just beyond the horizon and the water is connecting me from you. Although, I never went with you people to Bombay (one of the biggest and perhaps only- regret of my life)I can feel what you did here. You told me the stories a million times. How I wish today that I had the guts to tell my boss in Indian Airlines (Remember, I was in training there) that I need to go to Bombay with my friends. Anyway, although I was’nt here personally, I know that I was there with you guys always.
I remember me and Gaurav sitting on Worli Seaface last year and talking about you and then making that trip to Mount Mary on Christmas Day. There was something there. Something magical. And I just knew that you were also around that day.I’ll again make the trip to Mount mary this year on Christmas.Maybe I’ll go alone but maybe and just maybe, I won’t be alone…..
Finally Sunny’s getting married. And we’ll all be there in Jaipur on 13th Dec ( a few days before that, in fact) and I’m sure that all of us will miss the one person we wanted to be here the most. Cheeku Beta, remember we used to talk on what we’ll do when all of us would get married!!!!! Finally, Sunny is the first one in…..the show is on, all the actors are in place, but the director is missing….. or is he????? I know you’ll be there… with your everlasting smile and your jokes…. having fun and laughing on Sunny’s ‘Child Marriage’……
Keep Laughing,
Ever Yours
Sardara
